The 2012 Billboard Music Awards take place at Las Vegas' MGM Grand broadcast live Sunday May 20, 8/7c on ABC. The awards reflect Billboard's chart rankings based on key fan interactions with music, including album sales and downloads, track downloads, radio airplay and touring as well as streaming and social interactions.

The 2018 Billboard Music Awards will broadcast live from the MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas on Sunday, May 20 at 8 p.m. ET/5 p.m. PT on NBC.The three-hour telecast will feature this year's hottest musical acts, biggest performances, unexpected collaborations and buzzworthy pop culture moments.

The 2019 Billboard Music Awards ceremony was held at the MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas on May 1, 2019. It aired live on NBC and was hosted by Kelly Clarkson for a second year in a row.[1][2] The list of nominees were announced on April 4, 2019.[3] Mariah Carey received the Icon Award at this year's show.
